Term & Conditions

  1. Our minimum charge is $80.00 + GST
  2. Any further labour is charged at the rate of $20.00 + GST per 15 minutes.
  3. Payments are paid to the technician on his visit. This can be paid by mobile eftpos , cash, cheque or credit card.(please note a surcharge will be charged for credit card)
  4. Should an appliance not be fixed on the site and requires further work the customer will pay the initial call out fee and then the balance on completion of work undertaken. (eg spare parts and extra labour)
  5. When a Technician attends a call out within the arranged time frame agreed at time of booking and the client is not home or hasn’t left access to the premises a standard call out fee will be charged.
  6. If payment is not paid for at the initial visit an additional administration charge of $10.00 will be charged to the account. This account will be payable within 7 days from date of invoice.
  7. In the event that an account is not paid within 7 days from date of invoice Windress Home Appliance Services Limited reserves the right to transfer the overdue account to a credit collection agency. All costs associated with collection will be added to the account and will become payable immediately.
  8. A monthly charge of $20.00 will be incurred every calendar month that an account remains outstanding. This will be added on the first of the month and each subsequent month the account remains outstanding.
  9. Windress Home Appliance Services Limited provide a 90 day warranty on labour and 12 month warranty on parts fitted. In the event that a repair fails within this time the client is to contact Windress Home Appliance Services Limited immediately so Windress can rectify the repair. This warranty does not apply if a third party has been involved with the repair or a new fault has appeared.
  10. Parts fitted to an appliance remain the property of Windress until full payment has been received for the repair. In the event of non-payment the company reserves the right to repossess any parts fitted or supplied
  11. All contractual terms between the company and the client are governed by the Commerce Act, the Fair Trading Act, The Consumers Guarantees Act and The Sale of Goods Act. Windress Guarantees to uphold your legal rights.
